In 2008, two extraordinary things happened. For us, it was then that Pat began trials on a new, healthy USA way to make organic black garlic. For Batman fans, the movie "The Black Knight" was released.

What better way to celebrate these events than to "share the goodness" and give away a licensed Black "Garlic" Knight jacket? Heck, Roger Ebert gave the flick 4/4 stars, so that's good enough for us.

We could preorder only one jacket, sized XXL, so whoever wins hopefully is or knows a robust individual who will proudly wear it. Here's how it works: Send an email to pat@ObisOne.com answering the following question: "Why I like Batman and why I like ObisOne.com's organic black garlic." Essays must be received by midnight on Sunday, March 1, 2015 and may be from 1-1000 words in length. Entries will be judged by a secret Obis One employee panel whose decision will maybe not be the correct one, but it will be final. Criteria for judging will including creativity and recipe(s) using Batman theme and black garlic.

Since this jacket was pre-ordered, the winner will be notified when we receive it from the manufacturer and we will deliver/ship it at no charge. Good luck to all.
